CG Seeks to supersede Notification No.127/2011-Cus dated 30-12-2011 to exempt goods under Preferential Trade Agreement

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.46/2011-Customs, dated the 1^st June, 2011 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), vide number G.S.R. 423 (E), dated the 1^st June, 2011.

The List Contains 1589 goods falling under the Chapter, Heading, Sub-heading or tariff item of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975.

This notification shall come into force with effect from 1^st day of January, 2013.
